Developing enterprise awareness and skills for new business start-up and organisational growth
- On 14th February 2019
eAlliance Learning is pleased to announce the launch of our brand new Enterprise Awareness Development Programme. Created in conjunction with MENTA, the Norfolk and Suffolk Enterprise Agency and the National Enterprise Network, this is a fully online, flexible programme of study and practical exercises designed for those considering starting up their own business or growing an existing enterprise. The programme is certificated by the Open College Network West Midlands and can lead to achievement of a formal Award Qualification at Level 2.
Critically, all participants will be able to apply for full or partial funding towards the cost of this programme (subject to eligibility) via the Enterprise Network.
This skills development programme focuses on the key aspects of business planning, ensuring that participants are aware of all the influencing factors that must be considered when setting up or expanding an enterprise, and provides practical support in writing or updating a business plan and cash flow forecast. Additionally it offers important information about workplace compliance and legal and insurance responsibilities, sales and marketing and handling customers. The final section of the programme explores the personal skills that are required to set-up, run and grow a business enterprise, with useful information, case studies and practical exercises and activities.
Our modular online learning resources include a course induction, explaining how to complete the programme, an eWorkbook and eLearning courses, information sheets, business planning templates and an end-of-course Q & A assessment. In addition, participants receive the support of an expert online tutor who will provide additional advice and guidance to aid the successful completion of the programme.
